Karan Johar’s protégé Punit Malhotra who made I Hate Luv Storys with Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor, has planned his next film. In an interview, the young director said the script has been finalised and he is working on the casting. Unlike expected it isn’t a romantic comedy, but a social drama with two male leads. Thank god, he did not opt for an easier way and dish out another love story! Anyway, the director doesn’t reveal details of the casting. But if rumours are to be believed the lead pair of Malhotra’s debut film – Imran and Sonam – will be seen in his next in a different avatar. That should be a good thing for both the young stars. Imran has been overdoing it with romantic and youth-oriented genres. And after the Mausam debacle, Sonam desperately needs something to brighten up her filmograph. So, who better than the director who gave them a sureshot winner!
