Will it happen? Will it work? Will it succeed?

When you speak of romantic heroes you think of anyone but Ajay Devgn. The actor, known for his intense and brooding performances, can fight 10 goons at a time, cry his heart out with those soulful eyes and, as he has done more recently, make his audience roll on the floor with laughter. But when it comes to playing a mushy-gushy hero mouthing love quotes, Ajay has not succeeded so far. The 40-plus actor has done love stories before, but none of them were conventional romantic characters. Now director Vishal Bhardwaj feels that Ajay can pull off a romantic hero’s role. The two will soon come together for a romantic comedy, co-starring the lissome Anushka Sharma. So, will Ajay’s character be the atypical, brooding lover boy, or will he push the boundaries?
