Aamir Khan dreams of Hollywood heroines!
Will Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman or Eva Longoria say ‘yes’ to him?
Well, well, well. Looks like our perfectionist hero Aamir Khan is not averse to chasing a bit of Hollywood skirt. Not satisfied with the talent India has to offer the perfect Khan has cast his roving eye westward for Dhoom:3, if Cineswami’s mole in Yash Raj Films can be believed. Aamir, as you gentle folk know, is most likely playing a bald gymnastic thief in the film and will definitely overshadow his hapless co-stars. Click here to read more

Rajinikanth in 3D avatar in ‘Kochadaiyaan’!
Superstar Rajinikanth’s much talked about film Rana has been postponed to make way for Kochadaiyaan
Superstar Rajinikanth is healthy, fit and fine. The reason to keep his magnum opus Rana on hold has nothing to do with his health anymore. While people keep speculating the real reason, Rajinikanth has already begun work on his next. The actor’s next film will be made in hi-tech 3D, titled Kochadaiyaan which literally means a king with matted hair. The technology to be used in the movie will be similar to James Cameroon’s Avatar and Steven Speilberg’s Adventures of Tintin – called performance capturing technology. Click here to read more
Deepika Padukone goes dark for ‘Kochadaiyaan’
Rumours suggest that the babe’s complexion will be changed digitally and all this is being done only so that she matches her co-star Rajinikanth’s skin colour
Now that’s utter rubbish according to us ‘coz Rajini has acted with several heroines who are fairer than him – Robot opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being the most recent example. We think Deepika is being made to undergo this transformation only because her role demands it. Click here to read more

Superstar Rajinikanth’s film with Katrina Kaif will incorporate animation similar to Steven Spielberg’s The Adventures of Tintin
Going a step further from his special effects sci-fi film Endhiran (Robot), Rajinikanth’s new film will use motion capture technology. The same visual effects tool had been used in Steven Speilberg’s 2011 blockbuster, The Adventures of Tintin. Rajini’s film Kochadaiyaan, produced by his younger daughter Soundarya and starring Katrina Kaif, will incorporate motion capture so that the Superstar does not have to shoot on the field too much. The actor had been ill for a better part of 2011 and has been advised rest whenever possible. Click here to read more

7Aam Arivu Movie Review: A colossal disappointment!
Suriya and Shruti Hassan’s film is fantastic but is let down by poor execution by director Murugadoss
At one point in Murugadoss’ ambitious Deepavali release 7Aam Arivu, Suriya and Shruti Haasan get into an autorickshaw in Chennai and the driver does the unthinkable. He flicks down the meter. In Chennai. An auto driver. It is at this point that you realise that Murugadoss is operating in the realm of pure fantasy. In terms of plotline, it is fantastic but is let down by poor execution. What could have been a great action thriller is reduced to a preachy, turgid, bloated bore in Murugadoss’ incapable hands. Perhaps it is because he didn’t have a storyline to borrow from as he did with Christopher and Jonathan Nolan’s Memento script for Ghajini. Click here to read more
Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi….what makes them work?
Good looks is not always a guarantee for box office success. Some of the biggest names in Bollywood have…err…unconventional faces. Can Aazaan’s hero Sachiin Joshi write a similar success story?
He’s short, stout and beefy. He is neither eye-candy nor does he come from a filmi background. Sachiin Joshi, who just made his B-town debut with Aazaan, is nowhere close to being hero material, but he is still playing one in the action thriller that released on Friday to some positive reviews. Bollywood is replete with stories of unconventional-looking men who came into the world of movies in search of that elusive trophy called ‘success’. Most of them never did more than one not-especially-significant film, but some, in spite of their obvious limitations in the looks department, soared to starry heights. Like these… Click here to read more
Rajinikanth’s cameo in ‘RA.One’ was planned a year ago
If you think that South superstar Rajinikanth is a last minute addition to RA.One’s long cameo list then you are wrong. In fact, Rajini’s special appearance was planned a year ago when the film’s shoot was still in its initial stages. Director Anubhav Sinha had a sequence with Rajini in mind and the star was quite kicked about shooting it. But unfortunately he fell sick soon after and the director decided to drop the scene all together. Rajini though decided to stick to his promise and shoot for the film once he was back on his feet. But interestingly, Sinha had no plans to use Rajini’s Robot character Chitti in the film. It was Rajini’s daughter Soundarya who suggested that using the actor’s Robot look will add an interesting twist to the scene. Well, now we can’t wait to see these two superheroes in one frame! Can you?
