The Columbian singer-dancer who moved her hips like a dream in Hips don’t lie gave birth to a baby boy last night. And thinking about her promptly made us wonder about our desi Shakiras – which of our Bolly-babes could possibly do the hippy-hippy-shake-shake thing as well as Shakira did?

In Focus: Madhuri Dixit-Nene & Saroj Khan back together for Gulaab Gang


 
B-town diva Madhuri Dixit-Nene has always created an impression with her dance moves – whether it’s her first hit number Ek do teen in Tezaab or Humko aaj kal hai intezaar from Sailaab, or better still, Dhak dhak karne laga from Beta. And a lot of credit of her sensuous moves goes to choreographer Saroj Khan – a mentor to many a Bollywood star including Sridevi. Saroj shared this pic on Facebook of guru and shishya (Madhuri) practicing some moves. Mads and Saroj are coming together after a decade, in the actor’s new film Gulaab Gang. Aren’t we glad? ‘Cos we know Madhuri had missed working with Saroj on dance film Aaja Nachle in 2007. “My name is always synonymous with Sarojji and her dances,” she had said. We agree.
