Salim Kumar, best known for his comic roles, wins the National Award for his serious character in Adaminte Makan Abu

From being synonymous with comic characters, Salim Kumar now finds himself in the hall of fame as a serious actor, after winning the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Adaminte Makan Abu (Malayalam).
