After the lukewarm response to Rascals the producer-actor is vigilant of every move he makes
Recently, Sanjay Dutt revealed in an interview to a daily newspaper that he is upset the box-office result of his first production Rascals did not match his expectations. Fortunately, the superstar was courageous enough to accept that the fault lay in the script. Sanjay Dutt may not have premiere for ‘Rascals’
In the last few years, stars have started conducting special screenings of their films for family and friend circles before the official release. The recent star to do it is Sanjay Dutt. Over enthusiastic superstar has been holding two to three screenings for friends of his first production Rascals. Insiders say, with nearly half the industry covered Baba might not have a film premiere. Lately a lot of filmmakers instead of laying down the red carpet and inviting media eyes prefer to show the films to family and friends without all the razzle-dazzle. Earlier on, film premieres was the place to be, but it seems to be a dying trend.
