UPDATE: The Supreme Court today rejected Sanjay Dutt’s review plea of its March 21 judgement. The actor was sentenced to five years imprisonment in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case, of which he had already served one-and-a-half years. He was convicted under the Arms Act for possession of weapons during the blasts, including an AK-56 rifle. Following today’s verdict, the Bollywood actor will have to surrender by May 15, 2013.
