All the mid-November releases have been postponed to Christmas

Kerala, the land of coconuts, has now gained the notoriety of becoming the Land of Strikes. Hartals have become a common thing in the state. The latest victim of this phenomenon is the film industry. Latest reports suggest that almost all sections, ranging from production, distribution and exhibition of Malayalam films, have been paralysed by the ongoing strikes in the industry. All the mid-November releases have been postponed to Christmas. Mammootty’s Venicile Vyapari and Mohanlal’s Arabiyum Ottakavum…, which were supposed to hit the screens this weekend, too have been delayed. Click here to read more
