Trisha is possibly the only actor down south who has managed to keep herself away from controversies for over the last decade that she has been around. Despite acting with some of the top names in Tamil and Telugu movies, the actress is well liked both by her co-stars and directors. So, when a little birdie told us about Trisha being hugely upset with one of her peers, we initially refused to believe it. The film has everything that Ajith fans would want and some more
Every actor would love to do an anti-hero role at least once in their career. From Rajinikanth to Silambarasan, there are no exceptions to this craving. Mankatha is Ajith’s 50th film and the actor unleashed his charm doing a baddie in Vaali repeats the act. Director Venkat Prabhu, known for doing light-hearted films, takes up an action-packed thriller in the company of the mass hero. If cricket was the basic crux of Venkat Prabhu’s Chennai 28 (his debut film as a director), Mankatha is also based on the willow game, albeit with a difference. Director Venkat Prabhu is shooting the final stages of Mankatha in at Hyderabad. Giving himself a George Clooney kind of look, Thala, as Ajith is known amongst his fans, is working wonders at his characterisation in the movie which is reportedly based on a mafia involved in betting on cricket.
