Riteish Deshmukh’s dad Vilasrao Deshmukh has been airlifted to a hospital in Chennai as he is in a critical condition. According to reports, the 67-year-old former chief minister of Maharashtra has liver cirrhosis and both his kidneys have stopped functioning. Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has been airlifted to Chennai as he is in a critical condition. According to reports, the 67-year-old father of B-town actor Riteish, has cirrhosis of the liver and both his kidneys have stopped functioning.
Doctors are trying to stabilise his condition so that they can do a liver transplant. Vilasrao’s illness had been diagnosed a year ago and there had been considerable improvement but recently, his health took a turn for the worse. Riteish has reportedly stated that he will donate a part of his liver (as is required in such cases). However, tests are yet to be conducted to determine if it will be a match.Click here to read more
