Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has revealed that he wanted his upcoming production Blood Money to be titled Kalyug 2 but couldn’t do so due to stiff opposition from his associates. “I wanted to call this film Kalyug 2 but it was Kunal Khemu and Vishal Mahadkar who opposed me hammer-and-tongs saying we won’t have you do this to our product. You have Raaz 3, Jism 3, Murder 3, Aashiqui 2, so we want an original title for this,” the 63-year-old said in an interview. “The film remotely resembles the structure of Kalyug, which had an individual lock horns with the porn industry and this has a young man locking horns with the diamond mafia,” he added.
