The actor who was operated upon recently says he will be discharged soon, but will convalesce at home

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says his condition is much better since he was discharged from hospital following two abdominal surgeries. “I repair well dear ones. My movements are getting stronger and better by the day. The strength in the voice is weak, the body still pains at certain times, but in all there is a great difference from the times in the hospital and now,” Amitabh posted on his blog.
The 69-year-old underwent surgery February 11. He was kept under observation for 12 days after he complained of acute pain post surgery. At home, the workaholic star has been on complete rest, with restricted movement and diet. “The wounds of the two surgeries have healed and sealed – they generally do on their own, or so they tell me. Amitabh Bachchan, who is recuperating at home after abdominal surgeries, is enjoying a “no time-table” life. Apart from doing other things, he watched Oscar-winning film The Artist and said it was a “delight” to view the silent black and white French movie. “Being by myself and almost in solitary confinement, is getting contagious. I am beginning to rather like this state. Nowhere to go, nothing obligatory to perform, random timings and the liberty to do what I desire. I eat whenever, sleep whenever, watch a movie whenever and happy doing so,” Big B posted on his blog.
He added: “I watched a lovely film ‘The Artist’ via the UFO set up in the house and it was a delight to see a black and white, silent movie in February of 2012!! In an age when color and music and speech and sound play such an important role in cinema today, it was most innovative on the part of the makers to present something like this. Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was discharged from the Seven Hills Hospital late Thursday after a 12-day stay post two abdominal surgeries. He was discharged at 9.30 pm and was accompanied home by his wife Jaya Bachchan.
The 69-year-old actor, who was admitted to the hospital February 11, was kept under observation following complaints of pain post the surgeries. He was feeling restricted in his movements but kept his fans updated about his activities and progress through social networking mediums. Amitabh Bachchan says he loved spending time with his Cheeni Kum co-star Tabu when she visited him at the Seven Hills Hospital, where he has been under observation since the past 12 days. “The wonderful Tabu visited today and spent sizeable time, talking of many connected and unconnected issues.
