    The Dirty Picture has proved that a woman-centric film can reap rewards at the box office if it’s entertaining enough! The Vidya Balan starrer, which grossed around Rs 48.25 crore in its first week (distributor share is approximately Rs 27.50 crore), has become a sure shot superhit.     ‘Housefull 2’ gets the second biggest opening of the year

    The multistarrer earned Rs 14 crore on its opening day, but couldn’t beat the 2012 record set by Agneepath
    Sajid Khan was super confident that his film would earn big bucks at the box office. And as it turns out Housefull 2 has managed to earn the second biggest opening of 2012. The film made Rs 14 crore on the first day and then went on to make Rs 13 crore and Rs 15 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The Akshay Kumar and John Abraham starrer has earned around Rs 42 crore on the weekend and should manage to consolidate through the week. Housefull 2 collected Rs 5.5 crore in the overseas circuit on the first two days.
