Reliance MediaWorks to raise Rs 600 crore through rights issue

Funds raised will be utilised to reduce the debt of the company

AGNEEPATH box office report: Hrithik Roshan beats SRK

Agneepath crosses RA.One’s record by a big margin and achieves the biggest opening weekend record

The year has begun on a great note for B-town as its first big release, Agneepath has managed to break all records at the box office. The film has earned approximately Rs 65 crore in its opening weekend (first three full days – Thursday, Friday and Saturday – are considered the opening weekend), surpassing the record previously set by Shahrukh Khan’s Ra.One at Rs 52.93 crore. ‘Don 2’ shines at the box office; ‘Players’ tanks

Shahrukh Khan’s thriller crosses the Rs 100 crore mark at the end of the third week, while Players struggles in its first week

Shahrukh Khan has definitely had a great year at the box office. After a blockbuster in the form of his Diwali release RA.One, SRK’s Don 2 (which released on December 23, 2011) has also been declared a hit.
