Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is currently busy shooting with South star Rana Daggubati who had replaced Abhishek Bachchan in the role of a grungy policeman in Department. But RGV made up for it by choosing Abhishek Bachchan for his next project. The two have worked together in Naach, Sarkar and Sarkar Raj, and are all set to come together for the remake of the Telugu film Businessman.
Confirming this news, RGV tweeted, “Finally it’s confirmed…me and Puri Jagannath together are making the remake of the blockbuster Telugu hit Businessman with Abhishek Bachchan.” Jagannath was the writer-director of the original movie that starred Mahesh Babu and Kajal Aggarwal.Click here to read more

South hottie Rana Daggubati, whose Telugu film Naa Ishtam released last Friday, is on a roll. Not only is he starring in Ram Gopal Varma’s Department, but he has also landed a role in Aditya Bhattacharya’s English film, titled A Momentary Lapse of Reason. He will play a young Indian businessman in post-recession Los Angeles who takes on the city’s ruling crime family, says a press statement. To add some zing to Department’s promotions, makers of the movie have decided to add an extra song to the official album – a song sung by Sanjay Dutt!
Sanju baba will now get behind the mike to sing a song for his upcoming movie, Department. The actor is not new to it though. He has earlier sung ‘Aye Shivani’ from Khoobsurat, ‘Jane kya hoga rama re’ from Kaante and the title track of Munnabhai MBBS.
