Filmmaker Pramod Chakravorty’s banner resurfaces with ‘From Sydney With Love’

The teaser trailer of From Sydeny With Love, a fun film surrounding a bunch of girls and guys set in Australia, has been recently making rounds in the virtual world. It’s a film written, produced and directed by first-time director Prateek Chakravorty. Not many know that the filmmaker happens to be the son of director Pramod Chakravorty, who made Ziddi, Love In Tokyo, Dream Girl, Naastik et al in the 70s and Akshay Kumar-starrers Deedar and Barood in the 90s.
In 2004, Pramod passed away, and with that his banner Pramod Films turned inactive. Years later, in 2011 his son, Prateek decided to revive the production house with his first feature film, From Sydney With Love. The romantic comedy is about an Indian woman who goes to the University of New South Wales and what life has in store for her in the foreign land.Click here to read more
