    The 12th IIFA Awards were held in Toronto on June 25, 2011. Salman Khan’s blockbuster Dabangg bagged seven awards, including Best Film, Best Debut (Female) for Sonakshi Sinha and Best Performance in a Negative Role for Sonu Sood. Shahrukh Khan took away the Best Actor trophy for My Name is Khan, while Anushka Sharma was crowned Best Actress for Band Baaja Baaraat. Ranveer Singh won the Best Debut (Male) for Band Baaja Baaraat. Ranveer and Anushka were also adjudged the Hottest Pair. Sharmila Tagore took home the Outstanding Achievement Award.     Arnold Schwarzenegger fails to turn up at event to award Abhishek Bachchan!

    Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger failed to turn up at a function Thursday evening to present Abhishek Bachchan a Green Globe award for helping create a greener environment. Abhishek says he was not aware that Schwarzenegger would present him the award. “I had no idea, I was just told that I would get the Green Globe award. I was never told that I would get the award from him,” Abhishek said.
    The 64-year-old former governor of California arrived in the capital to attend the 12th Delhi Sustainable Development Summit. He was due to attend the Green Globe Foundation Awards Ceremony to present Abhishek with the Green Globe for Outstanding Efforts by a Celebrity award, did not turn up. “Wizcraft people had met Arnold and everything was sorted, but don’t know why he didn’t turn up at the last moment,” said a source.Click here to read more
