The multistarrer earned Rs 14 crore on its opening day, but couldn’t beat the 2012 record set by Agneepath

Sajid Khan was super confident that his film would earn big bucks at the box office. And as it turns out Housefull 2 has managed to earn the second biggest opening of 2012. The film made Rs 14 crore on the first day and then went on to make Rs 13 crore and Rs 15 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. The Akshay Kumar and John Abraham starrer has earned around Rs 42 crore on the weekend and should manage to consolidate through the week.
