When the Greek God of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan made a surprise entry into Salman Khan’s Being Human store in suburban Mumbai recently, we could not help but wonder if the hunk has made amends with bhai. Remember all was not so well between the two superstars after Salman had ridiculed Hrithik in a press conference for his film Guzaarish. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali project was very close Hrithik’s heart and obviously he could not take Sallu’s caustic remark in lighter vein.

Salman too, being the brash and irreverent that he is, did not care to clear the air. Though reports said that he had a chat with Hrithik over the phone to settle the matter, the two maintained a respectable distance from each other, and the growing silence between the duo only made us speculate more. But now Hrithik’s visit to the Being Human store suggests that the Krrish 3 hero wants to put the past behind and just move on.

Hrithik was happy with the collection he saw at the store in Bandra. He even posed for pictures with the staff. Now, don’t we love it when our B-town folks simply resolve their misunderstandings quite amicably before the matters get blown out of proportion?

After a decade-long association with the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards, Amitabh Bachchan, then the brand ambassador of the annual event, had a tiff with organisers Wizcraft International Entertainment. This was because the Bachchan family had refused to go to Sri Lanka for the awards in 2010 owing to some opposition to Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s film Raavan in the neighbouring country.

And so, Salman Khan had famously taken over the mantle from Big B, and was seen everywhere at the Sri Lankan IIFA Weekend. But last year again, the big stars of Bollywood like Amitabh, Salman, Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Akshay Kumar (Aamir Khan doesn’t attend award ceremonies) missed the event. It was evident that the IIFA party was losing sheen.

It seems now Sabbas Joseph of Wizcraft has called a truce and Big B is likely to be the face of the international Bollywood awards ceremony again. And Bachchan will make his comeback at a familiar venue – The Venetian Macao hotel in Macau, where the 2009 IIFA Weekend was held.

Looks like Wizcraft preferred to go with Macau looking at its experience with The Venetian, and rejected Vancouver’s bid earlier this year. Let’s see if Shahrukh and Salman will turn up for the IIFA Awards 2013!

The Roshans as a family have never been fitter. With Hrithik Roshan reaching the peak of fitness for Krrish:3, it looks like the superstar has inspired his entire family to follow in his footsteps.

So now it’s not only Hrithik who is a fitness freak. The actor has turned papa Rakesh Roshan, sister Sunaina Roshan and mum Pinky Roshan towards a fitness lifestyle too, and it seems they can’t do without their workouts. A little birdie told us that Hrithik has a Swedish expert Marika Johansson to thank for, for the transformation his family has achieved!

It was certainly a night to remember. The music launch of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 was full of glitz and glamour, an occasion where apna filmi sitaras showed how much they respect, adore and support the Deol clan – Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. We heard the Deols personally invited Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan among several other actors and filmmaker friends who were quite pleased to grace the event, wish their favourite macho actor of Bollywood – Dharmendra and his dearest sons the very best, and help the cast and crew of YPD2 make it a memorable affair. The emotional Deols were more than happy to welcome their guests, mingling and even dancing with them… In short, the celebration took place in the true Punjabi ishtyle!

Very rarely do we see SRK and Aamir together and that too in a jovial mood. And while King Khan, Duggu and Akki preferred to keep it casual with cool blazers, Aamir surprised everyone by sporting pink pants (oye teri!) – though must say, he looked cute! Salman was missing this time too… and you know why! But that didn’t affect the gala do as the glamour value shot up, especially when Dharam paaji danced to the tunes of Main aida hi nachna…must have been super fun to watch, for sure!

Dharmendra just couldn’t stop thanking his colleagues from the industry. “I am very happy for the love and respect which they give me. They all meet me so nicely. Today, whatever I am is because of their love. I wish them all the best and a long life. They should have good films and success should come to them,” said the veteran actor and also announced in his high spirit to the gathered media and crowd, “I want to say that I am the No. 1 dancer. My son Sunny planned a special song for me – Main aida hi nachna.”

The Men’s Health cover this week took us by surprise! The Ishaqzaade actor Arjun Kapoor was seen showing off a freshly chiseled rock hard bod. Well, it’s no secret that before Arjun made his Bollywood debut, the dude weighed a hefty 140 kg. And sure there was improvement in his first film, but the way he has ripped for his upcoming project Aurangzeb is mighty impressive!

It seems Arjun decided to fly in foreign trainers to work on his physique. Initially it was with the British trainer Adam Gethin, who is Chris Gethin’s cousin – the man who helped Hrithik Roshan beef up for Krrish 3. Later, Arjun moved on to work with another trainer Harry Ranson who helped him get in shape. “Harry has really helped me get in shape for the cover shoot. He has really put bodybuilding into perspective for me, and now really there is no looking back. I am going to move on to have an even better physique,” said Arjun, who, although happy with the results, is still a bit perplexed since people don’t believe his physique is for real! “People don’t believe I have achieved it. They think that it’s Photoshop or something!” laments the actor.

Besides months of hard work and dedication that he has put in, it is thanks to the efforts of the two trainers that you’re seeing your chubby star posing as the next Greek God! So look out for his super ripped physique in Aurangzeb and tell us what you feel!

Ever since Zoya Akhtar announced directing a multi-starrer featuring her favourite Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor, there have been all kinds of stories doing the rounds regarding the film’s starcast. The movie has been keenly followed by the media because of the possibility of Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor being cast as siblings for the first time. But we hear that’s not going to happen.

Our khabroo informs us that Ranboo is no longer a part of Zoya’s ambitious project and Zoya, who’s already spent considerable time on the pre-production, couldn’t wait for the Barfi! actor any longer. Now, if the latest goss is to be believed, the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara director is mulling over the thought of casting Ranveer Singh instead, who is really charged up to grab the offer. Not many know that the super-excited actor missed out on working with Kareena in Ramleela; so this time he doesn’t want to take a chance.

We think Zoya must have considered Ranveer’s stock of promising films lined up for release this year – Ramleela and Lootera among others, but we still feel Ranbir is a better actor than Ranvoo. So whose loss is it ultimately – Ranbir for not being able to share screen space with his glam cousin Kareena or Zoya for losing out on signing the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani dude? Since Zoya hasn’t confirmed anything yet, you never know… what’s gonna happen next. Watch this space for more updates!

Imran Khan has been slowly and steadily moving up the popularity ladder ever since he made his Bollywood debut in the 2007 movie Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na. The 30-year old star has been praised for his charming persona but the lad has not been appreciated for his acting chops as yet. But that doesn’t stop him from charging astronomical fees. A secret birdie has chirped to us that Imran has charged – and, hold your breath – whopping Rs 11 crore for the forthcoming project, Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again. What is even more shocking is that Imran steals the deal readily.

While on the one hand B-town’s big buck heroes like Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan are trying to squeeze their acting fees and making up for it by doing heavy-duty endorsements, on the other hand Imran’s big-buck move is certainly amusing.

But the question we are asking here is that does Imran really deserve to bag such incredible deals. Or is it just a strategically thought out PR drive to keep him afloat in the cut throat competition amongst our leading men. Tell us what do you think peeps?

It will certainly be a visual treat to watch Hrithik Roshan, the Greek God of Bollywood, sharing screnspace with the chocolate boy Ranbir Kapoor. We hear that the producer duo Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani may bring the two versatile actors together in a film for their banner, Excel Entertainment.

Though the name of the proposed production and its cast has not be finalised yet, an industry buzz suggests that Hrithik has a cameo in the film and Excel will soon make an official announcement about it. The movie will go on floors sometime next year.We know that the Kapoor scion and the Roshan lad are very good friends who’ve never had the chance to work together before any film.
