In honour of Indian cinema, its rich history and its vibrant culture, a museum is being built in Mumbai. The museum will be ready for visitors in a year and is expected to become the city’s major attraction for film-lovers

Here’s happy news for film enthusiasts. As Indian cinema celebrates its 100th year on May 3, 2013, the Films Division of India under the aegis of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, is planning to build India’s first film museum by 2013.
