John Abraham will not go to jail for rash driving accident
A few weeks ago, the Bombay High Court upheld a 15-day imprisonment for actor John Abraham for a rash driving incident of 2006. Two people were injured in the accident. But since the Housefull 2 actor has never been involved in any criminal acts, the Court released him on probation by after he furnished a bond of Rs 10,000. The star will also have to pay Rs 10,000 each to the two injured victims. Meanwhile, the victims’ families filed an affidavit stating that they had no problem with the actor being released, as they had reached an out of court settlement.
The incident occurred on April 7, 2006. John was heading home from a Gladrags party on his Yamaha Hayabusa bike, when he suddenly rammed into two youngsters – Shyam Kasbe and Tanmay Majhi – on a bicycle. Since the two riders got injured in the accident, the actor immediately took them to hospital and confessed to the incident.Click here to read more
