Rumour has it that ex-lovers John Abraham and Bipasha Basu, who had a bitter breakup not too long ago, may share screen space in Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout At Wadala. Story goes that even before Gupta signed John for his ambitious prequel to Shootout At Lokhandwala, he had got on board the sexy Bips to play the love interest of Manoj Bajpayee’s character in the action drama. It’s not the first time that Bips and John will be part of the same project after the much publicised breakup though. Remember they are already working on Abbas Mustan’s Race 2? And they had also shot for a commercial. However, John-Bips don’t have any scenes together in the racy thriller, unlike Shootout At Lokhandwala. There’s a song in Gupta’s film, a crucial sequence in the plot, where Bips has to shake a leg with John and Tusshar Kapoor’s characters. So far neither the filmmaker nor the actors have commented on the speculation. But given that a lot has happened between the two ex-lovers since the breakup – John has moved on and found new love whereas Bips is still hurting somewhere – we wonder if the sexy babe will fulfill her commitment. Let’s wait and watch how this real-life drama unfolds.
