Subhash Ghai’s Mukta Arts forays in to Kannada films
Bollywood showman Subhash Ghai has selected Kannada for his maiden south Indian production. Mukta Arts will produce Nimbehuli, after its Bengali and Marathi production forays. Subhash Ghai was impressed with actor-director Hemanth Hegde who had directed a Hindi movie for Mukta Arts in 2006. Though the film bombed in the box office, Ghai was floored by the versatile Hemanth. Nimbehuli would be a comedy. Both Ghai and Hemnath considered making it in Hindi, but decided that the plot suited Kannada more than Hindi. Hemanth himself is doing the main role in the film.
