    Bollywood’s veteran heroine Kalpana Mohan passes away

    Dev Anand and Shammi Kapoor’s heroine Kalpana Mohan succumbed to cancer recently
    Veteran actor Kalpana Mohan, who had starred opposite superstars Shammi Kapoor and Dev Anand in her heydays in films such as Professor, Teen Deviyan and Tasveer, passed away on January 4, 2012. She was 65. According to newspaper reports, Kalpana suffered from cancer and had been admitted to the Poona Hospital and Research Centre in early December 2011 due to an attack of pneumonia. She was discharged 10 days later, but was admitted again to the intensive care unit of the hospital after suffering convulsions. More complications developed and the actor breathed her last at the hospital. Click here to read more
