Madhuri Dixit’s Gulaab Gang joins the controversial list of Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroop, Aamir Khan’s Ghajini and Shahrukh Khan’s My Name is Khan!

Anubhav Sinha and Soumik Sen’s Gulaab Gang might not hit the theatres this Friday
Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Juhi Chawla’s first film together, Gulaab Gang has hit a roadblock. The much awaited film based on the pink revolution was perfectly timed for a release just a day before Women’s Day. Both the actors ensured that their film’s promotions and promos grabbed eyeballs. However, with Sampat Pal having filed a case against the movie at the Delhi High Court just two days before the movie’s release, looks like the dhak-dhak gal’s fans might just have to wait longer. But Gulaab Gang isn’t the only movie to be embroiled in a controversy just before its release, Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroop and Vishwaroopam, Shahrukh Khan’s My Name is Khan, Aamir Khan’s Ghajini and Hrithik Roshan – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer magnum opus Jodha Akbar too were stuck in some legal and political trouble before they finally hit the theatres. It is sad, however, that the 44-year-old has taken the ‘grey matter’ a way too seriously of late. Click here to read more

Sameera Reddy, Rahul Bose in ‘Viswaroopam’?

Sameera Reddy, Rahul Bose in ‘Viswaroopam’?

The two have signed on to play the female lead and the villain in Kamal Haasan’s ambitious project
It seems Kamal Haasan can finally go ahead with his ambitious project, Viswaroopam. The movie has had to cross several hurdles – director Selvaraghavan opted out of the movie due to personal commitments, then Sonakshi Sinha walked out due to date issues. He then approached Deepika Padukone who ostensibly refused due to a lack of dates, but she had already signed Rana opposite Kamal’s rival Rajinikanth. But now, if buzz is to be believed, everything is finally sorted out. Click here to read more
