    Ronit Roy gets bail in rash driving case

    Udaan actor Ronit Roy was arrested for rash and negligent driving after he was involved in an accident in Mumbai. The incident occurred around 6.30 a.m. The other car was thrown off the road and overturned. According to police, Ronit helped to take the injured women to the nearby Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. He didn’t inform the police and went away from the hospital. The police swung into action after the victims lodged a complaint. Rohit was then placed under arrest. He was sent for a medical check-up to ascertain if he had consumed liquor. News just in is that he has been granted bail against a surety of Rs 12,000. The actor says he was not drunk when he hit another car with his Mercedes. Three people were injured, including a 56-year-old woman who has been admitted to an Andheri hospital. Doctors say she is not in critical condition. Watch this space for more developments in this case.
