Neil Nitin Mukesh signs ‘Sahib, Biwi Aur Gangster’ sequel
For a while there have been rumours that director Tigmanshu Dhulia is planning a sequel of his last film, Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster. Finally we have the first confirmation from the Players actor. In an interview, Neil Nitin Mukesh who loves playing grey characters said, “I am excited about the sequel. I am looking forward to working with Tigmanshu… he is one of the finest directors. I hope the sequel is more menacing and scarier.” We hope so too, as the Johnny Gaddar actor desperately needs to make his presence felt with some powerful performances. While Neil refused to divulge details about his role, insiders say it will be similar to that of Randeep Hooda in the original. This means that from the original cast only Jimmy Sheirgill and Mahie Gill will be part of the sequel.

Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster: Special preview for Guru Dutt’s family
There is a history of the movies in Bollywood which have been inspired from classics. Producer Sunil Bohra’s upcoming Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster is one such film. It is inspired by the late filmmaker Guru Dutt’s film Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, which was released in 1962. Bohra has made his forthcoming film by imagining how the characters of Dutt’s film would behave in today’s times. As a tribute, Bohra is planning to screen the movie specially for Dutt’s family. Present at the preview would be Dutt’s sister and acclaimed painter Lalita Lajmi, his filmmaker niece Kalpana Lajmi, his cousin Shyam Benegal and son Arun Dutt.

Mahie Gill, who was in Chandigarh recently, spoke quite openly about the much-publicised lovemaking scenes with Randeep Hooda. She made it a point to tell the media that those scenes are “indispensable”. “Bold scenes that I am doing in the movie are an indispensable and inseparable part of it.
