The most shocking B-town deaths in 2012 were of filmmaker Yash Chopra and actor Rajesh Khanna. The Yash Raj Films’ head honcho passed away due to dengue and multi-organ failure on October 21, a month before the release of his last directorial project, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Satvik Reddy – a young boy killed in car crash during TV shoot
Five-year-old boy Satvik Reddy was killed and a girl was injured when they were run over by a car during the shooting of a television serial in Hyderabad today, police said. The child, who had come to watch the shooting of the Telugu TV serial Indrani at Chandanagar, came under the wheels of the car, which was being allegedly driven by a TV actor. Police, however, did not confirm this. According to an eyewitnesses, the driver lost control of the vehicle, hitting the people who had gathered to watch the shooting. Satvik was killed on the spot while a girl identified only as Satvik was injured. She was admitted to a local hospital. It was not immediately clear if the two were related or not.
