Sharmila Tagore denies rumours about settlement of family dispute!
It was rumoured that Sharmila Tagore reached Bhopal on Sunday in order to settle the family property dispute but the veteran actor denied the news
After the death of Begum Sajida Sultan, the last Begum of Bhopal, cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan aka Tiger Pataudi, actor Sharmila Tagore’s late husband and Saif Ali Khan’s father was recognised as the head of the royal house. Since then, his sisters, Saleha and Sabiha, have been fighting for a share in their ancestral property. It was speculated that Sharmila Tagore visited Bhopal recently to settle the dispute. Soha Ali Khan: It’s difficult to accept dad’s death
It is difficult for cricket legend Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi’s family to accept his death, Bollywood actor and his daughter Soha Ali Khan said Wednesday. “I recall him with a lot of love. There is still a lot of disbelief at the moment that he is no more. It is difficult for me and my family,” Soha told reporters on the sidelines of a programme organised by coffee chain Cafe Coffee Day and ITC’s stationery brand ITC Classmate. When asked about the love and support that has poured in from all over the world after the death of Tiger Pataudi, Soha said: “My family and I really appreciate the love and support that we have received from all over India and the world. We thank everyone for standing by us in this difficult moment.” Pataudi, who led India in 40 Test matches, died September 22 following a lung infection.

Saif Ali Khan’s Agent Vinod dedicated to Nawab Pataudi?
We heard that a shattered Saif Ali Khan might be dedicating his solo home production Agent Vinod to his late father Nawab Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi. Sources close to actor said, “Saif is really upset since he wanted his father to watch his film, as he always believed that his parents were his best critics”. Saif and his production team now plan to dedicate Agent Vinod to his late father, fondly known as Tiger. “Saif is also planning to pay a tribute to the legendary cricket star in his film,” we heard. Meanwhile, it seems Kareena too has planned to postpone her script narration and dress rehearsals of Heroine with Madhur Bhandarkar. Pataudi’s daughter, Soha Ali Khan has also postponed the promotional plans of her forthcoming film Soundtrack.

Shahrukh Khan remembers Pataudi as friend’s friend
Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan says he had “huge attachment” to Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi who died Thursday, and remembers the Indian cricket legend as a “friend’s friend”. “The news of Pataudi sir is very saddening. He was an iconic figure. I have met him and known him very closely. Since the time I was young, I have had huge attachment to him. He was a gentleman and a friend’s friend,” Shah Rukh told reporters in Gurgaon. He was speaking on the sidelines of the Global Indian Music Awards (GIMA). Pataudi died after battling a lung infection for about a month. The former Indian captain, 70, is survived by his wife, actress Sharmila Tagore, and three children, daughters Soha and Saba and son Saif Ali Khan. “I will definitely go and meet the family,” the 45-year-old star said. “I am close to Saif and Soha.”

Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi passes away
Former Indian cricket captain Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, who was hospitalised for acute lung infection, passed away on Thursday evening. Actor Amitabh Bachchan posted a message on Twitter saying, “Sad news .. Tiger Pataudi passes away .. !!!” Earlier in the day, Neeraj Jain, senior consultant and chairman of pulmonolgy (chest medicine) at Sir Gangaram Hospital in central Delhi said, “His condition has deteriorated since Wednesday and he is unable to maintain his oxygen level in spite of maximum treatment. He continues to remain in the ICU (intensive care unit).” Pataudi, 70, was admitted to the hospital in August with acute lung infection. The condition does not allow normal passage of oxygen to both the lungs. The patient breathes out more carbon dioxide during infection. He is survived by actor-wife Sharmila Tagore, son Saif Ali Khan and daughters Saba and Soha Ali Khan.

Saif Ali Khan’s father hospitalised
Veteran cricketer and Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan’s father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi has been admitted to a hospital in Delhi. He is suffering from a lung infection. Son Saif Ali Khan rushed to Delhi on Friday morning. The condition of Pataudi is improving now. Saif was present in the capital along with his mother Sharmila Tagore. The actor confirmed the news to a tabloid saying, “Yes, I am in Delhi. My dad is in the hospital but he is stable now. He has a lung infection.” The doctors however are yet to decide on the discharge date. We wish the Sr Nawab a speedy recovery.
