According to the police, Priya told them in her complaint that Raja had sent her text messages from his phone, apologising for his behaviour after he tried allegedly molested the actor in his car. It was reported that Raja met Priya at a local coffee shop on Sunday after which he took her in his car to a deserted spot in a nearby area and tried to take advantage of her even as she was narrating a script to him. After she turned down his advances and left, Raja apparently messaged Priya several times apologising for the indecent behaviour. Raja was booked on Sunday night after the TV actor/screenwriter Mishra complained to the police that Raja had tried to molest her on Sunday evening. Reportedly, Raja had invited Priya to narrate a script to him in which she wanted Rani to play the main lead. Raja insisted that Priya and he travel in his car to the venue where she was to narrate the script to him, and allegedly molested her in the vehicle. Priya filed the complaint at the Versova police station later in the night after which Raja was arrested. Rani, who is known to be quite close to her brother, has not said anything about the incident until now. Meanwhile, Raja’s medical tests have been done, and now the director will have to deal with the matter in court.

The 80-year-old director was busy working on his forthcoming release Jab Tak Hai Jaan starring Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. Chopra  was to leave for Switzerland for the last schedule of his last directorial venture in the coming week. But now given Chopra’s health condition, the shooting that was scheduled for Switzerland later this month has been postponed.

A visibly distraught Asha Bhosle reveals the identity of the weapon with which daughter Varsha shot herself. The veteran singer returned on Monday night at 10pm to Mumbai from Singapore after the shocking and untimely demise of Vasrsha. Asha reportedly informed the police about the gun that they were tracking. She said that the .22 Baby Browning pistol that Varsha used to kill herself was her old gun which had been misplaced decades ago. She said at the time she had filed a complaint with the police, and that she had no clue how Varsha caught hold of the weapon. And although the cops questioned Asha for a very short while as the singer was understandably in shock, they will later quiz her in more detail about the incident.
