The new show from Miditech will reportedly star Tulip Joshi and VJ Yudhishtir…Top Gun, anyone?
Reality shows are the name of the game these days, but sometimes the makers of a reality show has to have a change. Miditech India Pvt Ltd, which has given us non-fiction programming like Mahayatra, Lux Perfect Bride, Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, Guinness World Records – Ab India Todega and Super Stud, will soon start the production of a new show, this time fiction. This one will soar, literally speaking, as it is based on the theme of aviation. Supposedly called Airlines, it is said to be a new-age love story with the usual backdrop of family dynamics, all spiced up with planes, pilots and airports, we presume. Coming from the people who produced flying successes Saara Aakash and Choona Hai Aasmaan, this new show should be something to look forward to.
The lead characters are said to be essayed by a couple of known faces, now kind a faded into showbiz history. Host of The Great Indian Love Challenge on NDTV GoodTimes – VJ Yudhishtir aka Yudi will play the male lead, while Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai and Matrubhoomi heroine Tulip Joshi who made her debut in Bollywood as Sanjana, will be his female counterpart. Both will play pilots, we are told, and much of the show will be shot in Delhi.
Will this one fly high and push the careers of its lead stars into the stratosphere? We wait to find out…
