The superstar who had stopped shooting for the show due to stomach infection and fever has resumed work now
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been taking it slow since a bout of fever and stomach infection hit him earlier this week, but the 71-year-old couldn’t wait to resume work. He returned to the sets of popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) on Thursday morning.
He posted on his Facebook page, “Back at work for #KBC .. not entirely cured … but .. work shall make me better I am certain .. it is the shower of audience love !”
“Its back to ‘KBC’ again tomorrow (Thursday), and I shall try my best to be at my best,” Bachchan posted on his blog Srbachchan.tumblr.com midnight Thursday.
He also shared that he would take at least four days for complete recovery. However, he is itching to do a lot of other work, which includes acknowledging his birthday wishes.
“There is much to be done…particularly in the context of work tomorrow… and the numerous acknowledgements that I make each year on my birthday, personally. The room is filled with gifts of love and blessings… it is so crowded that finding my way to the desk is a serious traffic exercise,” Bachchan added.
On the work front, he is currently seen as the host of the seventh edition of KBC, which airs on Sony Entertainment channel. He had also started filming Bhootnath Returns aka Bhootnath 2.
