Star Parivaar Awards 2012: ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ wins six trophies

Arnav and Khushi were among the big winners of the night

The Star Parivaar Awards 2012 had celebrities from several shows on Star Plus attending the event in grand style. All of them came dressed as their characters as these awards, unlike others, honours the characters and not the actors. You would think then Sthat it would honour the writers who came up with these characters, but no. Hina Khan collected her Favourite Beti Award while Barun Sobti walked up to the stage to collect his Naya Sadasya Male Award. Here is the complete list of winners from that night:

Naya Sadasya Male Award: Arnav Singh Raizada (Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon)

Naya Sadasya Female Award: Sandhya (Diya Aur Baati Hum)

Favorite Beta Award: Ahem (Saath Nibhana Sathiyaa)

Favorite Beti Award: Akshara (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai)

Favorite Bahu Award: Gopi (Saath Nibhana Saathiya)

Favorite Saas Award: Shailaja (Sasural Genda Phool)

Favorite Sasur Award: Vishambhar (Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai)

Favourite Patni Award: Suhaana (Sasural Genda Phool)

Favorite Pati Award: Viren (Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai)

Best Jodi Award: Arnav & Khushi (Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon)

Best International Jodi Award: Arnav and Khushi (Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon)

Favourite Pita Award: Sajjan Singh (Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya)

Nayi Soch Kirdaar Award: Maanvi (Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai)

Favourite Sister Award: Jeevika (Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai)

Favourite Dushman Award: Shyam (Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon)

Mazedaar Sadasya Award: Manorama Mami (Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon)

Favorite Mezban Award: Ayushmaann Khurrana (Just Dance)

The Shining Star Award for Nayi Soch Pal Award: Gopi (As she decides to study after marriage and her family supports her).

Most Stylish Sadasya Award: Barun Sobti -Arnav Singh Raizada (Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon)
