TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERNING ACTIVITY TO BE CONDUCTED FOR BOLLYWOODLIFE.COM AWARDS 2021
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (“Company”) is organizing “BollywoodLife.com Awards 2021”, which is an online voting event along with an awards show and conclave (“Event”), to be telecasted on the Company’s website www.bollywoodlife.com and any other Digital and social platforms owned by the Company, at the sole discretion of the Company.
By means of these terms and conditions set forth herein (“Terms and Conditions”), the Company is providing an opportunity to the interested visitors / participants (“Voter(s)”) to submit/cast their votes by selecting from the various nominations under the different categories of Awards as uploaded on the website bollywoodlife-awards-2021 (referred as “Company’s Website”). It is clarified that voting shall include voting from world wide web (web), and wireless application protocol (WAP) (referred to as the “Voting Platform”) on terms more particularly described herein below, which Voter agrees to be unconditionally bound by:

In order to participate, users of the Company’s Website (“Visitors”) shall be required to submit/cast the nominations by submitting the information as mentioned in the Nomination Form available on the Company Website (“Activity”). Upon complete and successful submission of the Nomination Form, Company may at its sole discretion, consider such Nomination for the Award. Each Visitor shall be required to submit the Nomination Entry in the following manner:

To submit the Nomination Entry via the Company’s Website, the Visitors shall be required to log onto Company’s website being bollywoodlife-awards-2021 and click on the page/online form/post created for casting nominations and submit their nomination Entry by filling on the necessary information on the Website and click on “submit” button. Once the Visitor has successfully submitted their nomination for the category/s mentioned on the website and shared the required Personal Information, the Visitor shall be shown a message acknowledging their successful submission of nomination.
Each of above shall be individually referred to as the ‘Nomination Entry” and collectively referred to as the “Nomination Entries”
The window for casting your Nominations shall start from 15th February 2021 and continue up to 21st February 2021. (“Nomination Activity Period”). No Nomination shall be considered if made post the expiry of the Nomination Activity Period.
It is further clarified that the details of the Nomination Entries will be saved and stored in the Company’s data bank/ server and the data bank/server of Nomination Platforms in accordance with the applicable privacy laws, rules, regulations and legislations as may be applicable from time to time. Further, the Visitors unconditionally authorise the Company to use the information as provided for the purpose of promotion of the Event or otherwise in relation to the Event.
If the Visitor fails to make the Nomination Entry in the manner as stated herein above then his Nomination Entry shall be considered incomplete and the Visitor shall not be eligible for selection for the purpose of Nomination Activity. By filling the Nomination, the Visitor undertakes that all the information as provided is true and correct and the Company shall not be responsible to verify the information as provided or be in any manner responsible to authenticate the veracity of the information.
There will be 4 winners announced under each category who will be eligible to receive prizes as gratifications (“Gratification”). In case of any tie, it will be resolved basis on a lucky draw conducted in accordance with the internal Company policies. The gratifications are listed below:
The Gratifications are as mentioned above, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The Gratification is not transferable. Gratification is subject to availability and the Company reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of equivalent value or cancel the prize without giving notice. Gratification shall be subject to the applicable terms & conditions of respective brand owning the product given as gratification. Each Visitor shall be considered only for a single category Award irrespective of the number of Nominations filed by such Visitor.
The voters shall be contacted latest by 31st May 2021 by sms/e-mail. If the voter cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within two (2) days of notification by e-mail/ sms, the Company reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the voter and choose a replacement winner. The procedure to receive the Gratification shall be informed to the Winners vide e-mail/ sms or otherwise in a manner best deemed fit by the Company.
For the purpose of the Voting Activity, any person/user who casts a vote for the shortlisted Nominees as available under the respective Award Categories mentioned on the Company’s Website shall be considered as a Voter.
In order to participate in the Activity, each Voter shall be required to submit/cast their votes out of the various celebrities/ influencers/ shows/ movies etc., nominated by the Company under various categories of award in the Event (“Voting Entry”).
For sake of clarity, there shall be 60 (Sixty) categories clubbed under 6 Award categories i.e., Bollywood, Bhojpuri, South Cinema, Social, OTT and Television. Each category will have various nominees, as nominated by the Company (“Nominee”) and/or selected from the Nominations received by the Company (“Nominee”). Each Voter shall be required to submit the Voting Entry in any of the following manner:

To submit the Voting Entry via the Company’s Website, the Voters shall be required to log onto Company’s website being bollywoodlife-awards-2021 and click on the page/online form/post created for casting votes and submit their voting Entry for various categories listed from the various nominations choice under the various categories by filling on the necessary personal information on the Website and click on “submit” button. Once the Voter has successfully submitted their vote for the category/s mentioned on the website and shared their Personal Information, the Voter shall be directed to a page with a message acknowledging their successful submission of votes.
Each of above shall be individually referred to as the ‘Voting Entry” and collectively referred to as the “Voting Entries”
The Activity Period for Voting Activity shall start [] from 22nd February 2021 and continue upto 21st March 2021. (“Activity Period”). Company reserves its right to amend the Voter Activity Period, which shall be communicated through the Company Website.
Each Voter shall be allowed to submit only one entry for 1 category through Company’s Website. For sake of clarity, more than 1 Voting Entry for 1 category by the same Voter, shall be declared as null and void and shall not be taken into consideration for the purpose of counting the Voting Entries. The Company reserves the right to change the said restriction of 1 Voting Entry for 1 category at its discretion and any such change shall be uploaded on the Company’s Website. The Company shall not in any manner be responsible to provide any personal intimation to the Nominees/Voters of such change.
It is further clarified that the details of the Voting Entries will be saved and stored in the Company’s data bank/ server and the data bank/server of Voting Platforms, to be utilized and publicized only for the purpose of the Voting Activity.
For purposes of the Voting Activity, “receipt” of the Voting Entry occurs only when the Voting Entry is made through the Company’s Website when the Voter visits the Company’s Website and submits the Personal Information, votes from various Nominees under different categories and clicks on the “submit” button.
If the Voter fails to make the Voting Entry in the manner as stated hereinabove then their Voting Entry shall be considered incomplete and the Voter shall not be eligible for selection for the purpose of Voting Activity. For the avoidance of doubt it is hereby clarified that by submitting the Voting Entry the Voter is representing that the Voting Entry or contents thereof are not confidential or comprise any sensitive personal information, and the Company shall be within its rights to use such information as provided by the Voter, provided for the sole purpose of the related Activity and at all times in compliance with the applicable laws
Voting Entries received after the Activity Period of the Voting Activity shall be considered null and void.
On the submission of a voting entry, a shareable link shall be generated for the voters. Voters may share the link as generated on their personal social media profiles to invite other people to participate in the Voting Actvity.
The Company and/or Voting Platforms shall not be responsible for any Voting Entries submitted by the Voters but not received or recorded due to any reason whatsoever including but not limited to technical disruption and/or network provider’s connection failure and/or any reason whatsoever. The services of Voting Platforms are provided “as-is” and as available and the Company expressly disclaims any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. The Company and/or Voting Platforms cannot guarantee and does not promise any specific results from use of the services of the Voting Platforms in whatsoever manner.
The Company assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, any user or member communication.
The Company makes no representations that the Voting Platforms are appropriate or available for use in other territory outside India.
The Voting Entry made is non-transferrable and non-exchangeable. Voter agrees and undertakes that no cash equivalent or alternatives will be given to the Voter for submitting the Voting Entry.
Family members and relatives of the employees of the Company and their group companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, holding companies are not eligible to participate in the Voting Activity.
The Voter shall not in any circumstances make any claims against the Company entities arising out of or relating to any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to the Voter’s participation in the Voting Activity or any related activity, to the extent permitted under law. If the Voter is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Terms and Conditions, the corresponding Voting Entry will stand disqualified and such decision shall be final and binding.
Gratification for the Voters:
On the basis of the Voters having submitted a valid entry and their personal information along with sharing the shareable link (generated on voting entry submission), they shall be entitled to receive Gratifications at the discretion of the Company (“Gratification”) as listed below:

Gratification is subject to availability and the Company reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of equivalent value or cancel the prize without giving notice. Gratification shall be subject to the applicable terms & conditions of respective brand owning the product.
Each voter with a unique email id will be awarded with gratifications as listed above only once irrespective of no. of categories for which he has submitted valid voting entries. The voters shall also be contacted latest by 31st May 2021, by e-mail/sms. If the voter cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within two (2) days of notification by e-mail/ sms, the Company reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the voter and pick a replacement winner.
The Company will inform the voter about the prize collection procedure.
After the completion of Voting Activity Period, votes received shall be tabulated by the Company. Company shall also engage and establish a Jury comprising of Panelist who shall be Industry Experts or any other as deemed fit by the Company (“Jury”).
Award Winner(s) from the different categories nominated for the award show in the Event (“Award Winner(s)”. Th final decision of the Winner in each Category shall be done basis on the Jury’s Decision and the Vote Count as received against each Nominee.
The declared Winners for each Category as announced shall be final and by participating in the Nomination/Voting Procedure, you waive your right to in any manner challenge or make any disputing claim against the decision of the Company, which shall stand final and binding.
In order to participate in the Gaming Activity, each participant shall be required to be log on to the website bollywoodlife-awards-2021 There are 4 (four) games/ activities in ‘Play and Win’ section as following:
There is no entry fee to participate in these activities. The date and time on which the player submits the final score shall be recorded as the date and time of the game as played.
The games will be live from 0900 hrs on 22nd February 2021, up to 1159 hrs on 21st March 2021. (“Gaming Activity Period”)
The Company shall promote these games/ activities through the medium of the website, digital media/ online and any other manner as shall be deemed fit by the Company, at its sole discretion, stating the mechanism in which the participants can participate in the games/ activities.
Participation in the games received after the Gaming Activity Period shall be considered null and void.
By participating in the various activities conducted on website bollywoodlife-awards-2021 a participant will earn Z coins as per the below rules:
On the basis of the Z coins earned by participating in any or all of the aforementioned activities, participants will be showcased in various leaderboards maintained on the website. The participants will be featured on leaderboards in descending order; i.e. a participant having earned the highest number of coins will be shown first, and the participant having earned the lowest number of coins will be shown last. On the basis of Z coins earned by participating in various activities, a participant may be declared winner based on the following criteria:
Having participated in various activities organised on website and earned Z Coins bollywoodlife-awards-2021 from 22nd February 2021 to 21st March 2021 a participant shall be entitled to receive a few prizes as gratifications at the discretion of the Company (“Gratification for Gaming Activity”) as listed below:
The Gratifications are as mentioned above, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The Gratification is not transferable. Gratification is subject to availability and the Company reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another of equivalent value or cancel the prizes without giving notice. Gratification shall be subject to the applicable terms & conditions of respective brand owning the product.
Each winner with a unique email id will be awarded with 1 list of gratifications/ prizes as listed above only once irrespective of no. of times a participant has won under 1 category. For the sake of clarity, a participant if eligible and wins, he’ll be receiving hourly prizes only once irrespective of number of times he has won and irrespective of no. of times he gets featured on leaderboard or winner board. Same is applicable for other category of gratification/ prizes as well.
The winners shall also be contacted latest by 31st May 2021 If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within two (2) days of notification by e-mail, the Company reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The Company will inform the winner about the prize collection procedure. The winner shall provide few details as required by the Company in order to be able to receive his prizes. On failure of providing these details, the Organiser reserves the right to withdraw the Prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
Participation in the Nomination Activity, Voting Activity, and Gaming Activity is open to audiences worldwide.
Persons must submit the Nomination Entries, and Voting Entries on their own behalf and Nomination Entry (ies), or Voting Entry (ies) by proxy will not be accepted, even for their family members.
The Company reserves all rights to make amendments to the existing Terms and Conditions or withdraw the Nomination Activity, Voting Activity or Gaming Activity without giving prior notice. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Voter(s), Participant(s) to check the Terms and Conditions of the Nomination Activity, Voting Activity, Gaming Activity on the website of the Company/ Event i.e. BGR.in
The Voter hereby undertakes, warrants and guarantees to the Company that he/she has full legal capacity to participate in the Voting Activity in accordance with law and also these Terms and Conditions.
The Voter understands and agrees that the Company shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for any Nominee having been not selected as a Winner post counting of the Voting Entries received on the Voting Platforms from the Voters throughout India. The Company shall not entertain any complaints from the Voters, visitors, participants or any person related to the Voter, visitor, or participant in relation to the Nomination Activity, Voting Activity, or Gaming Activity of the Event.
The Voter/ Participant acknowledges that he/she has voluntarily chosen to participate in the Voting Activity, Nomination Activity, or Gaming Activity at their free-will and is willing to bear all risk, costs and consequences arising from such participation in the Voting Activity, Nomination Activity or Gaming Activity.
Voter(s)/ Participant(s) who do not comply with these Terms and Conditions, or who attempt to interfere with the process of Voting Activity, Nomination Activity, or Gaming Activity or the operation of the Voting Platforms, Nomination Platforms, or Gaming Platforms in any way shall be disqualified and the Voting Entries/ Nomination Entries submitted shall not be counted.
Casting of a vote, Participation in any activity on the Event platforms shall construe acceptance of these Terms and Conditions even if the same is not explicitly mentioned by the Voter/ Participant. The Company shall not be responsible for delayed receipt or non-receipt or incomplete receipt or corrupt receipt of votes/ nominations/ participation.
All Voting/ Nomination Entries received by the Company shall be subject to verification to automatic, programmed, robotic or similar means of voting/ nominations are permitted.
The Company reserves the right, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend Voting Entries/ Nomination Entries/ Gaming Activity Participation submitted by the Voter/ Participant, should any virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the voting process/ nomination process, gaming activity. The decision of usability of the Voting/ Nomination Entries received by the Company shall be decided by the Company at its sole discretion.
The Company makes no representations, warranties nor provides any undertaking to any of the Voter(s)/ Participant(s) that any or all of the Voters/ Participants will be able to qualify for being eligible to get the opportunity of participating in the Voting Activity/ Nomination Activity/ Gaming Activity .
The Company shall not be liable / responsible for any lost opportunity, damages, losses, costs, expenses or otherwise suffered / incurred by any of the Voter(s)/ Participant(s) in the event that the Company is not able to permit the Voter/ Participant to take part in the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Activity in accordance with any of the foregoing provisions.
Notwithstanding any other provisions mentioned herein, the Company may, at its sole and absolute discretion, cancel or reschedule the dates for such Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Activity and at such date and place as it may determine.
At no point of time will the Company be obliged to notify the Voter/ Participant, the Voting/ Nomination Entry of whom has been disqualified by the Company.
The Voter(s)/ Participant(s) shall not hold the Company, its affiliates, contractors, partners, vendors and promotion and advertising agencies responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of voting information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit Voter’s/ Participant’s ability to vote/ nominate/ participate in gaming activity, including any injury or damage to Voters/ Participants or any other person’s mobile device or land line relating to or resulting from participating in the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Activity or downloading any materials. The Company and/or its representatives shall not be responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, technically corrupted or misdirected votes/ nominations, which shall be disqualified. The Company shall attempt to use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security and accuracy of all Voting/ Nomination Entries and the methodologies/ processes/ mechanisms of said Voting/ Nomination Entries however the Voters/ Participants hereby acknowledge and agree that such methodologies/ processes/ mechanisms are not infallible, and that the Company makes no guarantee as to its effectiveness.
All Voting/ Nomination Entries and/or any kind of data received by the Company and/or Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming/ Event Platforms shall be stored, maintained or shared in accordance with the Company/Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming/ Event Platform’s privacy policy and the Company/ Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming/ Event Platforms shall at no time be under any kind of obligation to discard or maintain the said information received from the Voter/ Participant.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any court or other competent authority to be void or unenforceable in whole or part, the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the affected provisions shall continue to be valid.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Mumbai.
The Company is empowered to take a decision on any case not covered by the present Terms and Conditions and the said decisions shall be considered as final and binding on the Voters/ Participants.
Each provision of this Terms and Conditions shall be considered severable, and if for any reason any provision(s), or the application of such provision(s) to any person, entity or circumstance, shall be held invalid or unenforceable, such provision(s) shall be ineffective to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability without invalidating the remaining provisions hereof, or the application of the affected provision to persons, entities or circumstances other than those to which it was held invalid or unenforceable.
Any personal data of the Participants will be used in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy privacy-policy and at all times in accordance with the applicable Data Privacy Laws.
The Company is in no manner whatsoever responsible and/or shall not be held liable, for any physical injury, death, mental trauma caused to any Voter in any manner whatsoever, in relation to participation in the Voting, Nomination, or Gaming Activity.
The Company, shall be under no liability whatsoever to the Voters/ Participants, in respect of any loss, damage suffered by the Voters/ Participants arising from or pursuant to the participation in the Voting, Nomination or Gaming Activity or for any and all loss, damage, cost, expense or injury to life or property sustained by the Voter/ Participant at any stage of the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Activity whether or not caused by (1) the Voter’s/ Participant’s participation in the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Activity; (2) as a result of the any decisions of the Company for any matter relating to the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Activity; (3) as a result of any comment, remark, judgment, view, criticism, critique, opinion and/or observation in relation to any Nominee made and/or passed by the mentor appointed by the Company for the Event. Notwithstanding the generality of the foregoing, the Company expressly excludes liability for all direct, indirect and consequential loss or damage, including but not limited to loss or damage to property or for loss of profit, business, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings pursuant to participation in the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Activity. In no event will the measure of damages include, nor will the Company be liable for, any amounts for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any party, including third parties; or for damages attributable to the Voter/ Participant; or circumstances beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
The Voter/ Participant agrees that he/she shall hold harmless the Company, their affiliates, subsidiaries, group companies, their respective employees, officers, sub-contractors, vendors or any other person in connection with the Event and/or the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Activity including but not limited to persons connected to the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Entries counting procedure and/or elimination procedure based on the number of Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Entries received and recorded with the Company and/or any increase/decrease in the charges charged to the Voter/ Participant by their network provider for submitting the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Entries.
The Company or any of its affiliates will not be liable for any loss of earnings, employment or otherwise caused to the Voters/ Participants and arising as a result of their participation in the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Activity, if selected.
Company shall not be held accountable/liable for any disruptions/stoppages/ interruptions or cancellation of the production of the Event and/or conducting the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Activity on account of any force majeure factors or otherwise.
Company shall not be held responsible or accountable for any expenses (including but not limited to charges charged by the network providers for each Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Entry submitted by the Voter/ Participant), loss, or any other liability which may arise due to the Voter/ Participant submitting Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Entries on the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Platforms.
The Voter/ Participant hereby agrees to indemnify the Company or its affiliates against any claims that might arise from their actions or omissions while participating in the Voting/ Nomination/ Gaming Activity or due to any representations, misrepresentations or concealment of material facts by the Voter/ Participant.
The Company won’t entertain any claims in regards to these Awards/ Games/ Conclave.
