What Hina Khan said on Bigg Boss 11 about the Southern film industry being obsessed with "bulging" actresses is outright disrespectful. I mean, she could have just restricted it to mention about falling victim to one such demand during a Mahesh Babu film, that she eventually had to reject because of the same reason. But the fact she went on to stereotype the whole mentality of South being desperate for chubby actresses was not only offensive but even demeaning to the women working out there.

However strangely, despite Hina's remarks hitting the web, nobody except for Hansika Motwani chose to react in defense. In fact, Hansika is the only one who's reacted to Hina's comments so far as she tweeted saying, "“Doesn’t she know a lot of Bollywood actors hv worked & are working in the our south industry ! Shame on you #hinakhan for trying 2demean us.” She also added, “And whatever #hinakhan is saying is our pure bullshit . #pleasegetyourtactsrightgirl." Wonder why are the other South actors keeping mum? Why no South actor or actress is willing to put an end to Hina's accusations? An insider from South film industry EXCLUSIVELY reveals to us that the reason why nobody is reacting to Hina's degrading remarks is not because they are charged guilty or agreeing with her on any point. In stead, it's because they don't want to give importance to someone as non-influential as Hina. "No one knows Hina Khan here so her opinions don't matter anyway. Celebs here don't want to add on to something that is not even relevant and escalate this controversy further. Half of them are like who is Hina Khan? So you know how 'important' she is in South.", asserts the source.

Here, watch the video below to know how exactly Hina shamed the South film fraternity:

We tried to also get in touch with Taapsee Pannu and Tamannaah Bhatia considering they too are big names down South but both of them remained unavailable for the comment. Do you think the Southern industry is doing right by keeping mum on the whole issue? Or you think the artists should shut everyone up by reacting to these accusations?
