Hina Khan became one of India's favourite bahus with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where she played the role of Akshara for eight long years. The journey hasn't been one jolly ride for the actress who quit the show after eight years. Hina was embroiled in the series of controversies before and after she quit the show. She was even a part of one while shooting for the show. However, the actress ended everything on a cordial note and moved on in life. To get rid of her sanskari bahu image, she participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and became a finalist in the stunt-based reality show.
Shedding her ideal daughter-in-law image is also one of the main reasons that Hina took up Bigg Boss 11. It's just been two days and inmates are already cooking up stories inside the house about the actress. We told you earlier how Vikas is hinting at Hina and Priyank Sharma turning into an item just because they were working out together. We're expecting Hina to cook up a storm inside the house and add more masala to all the drama that we're expecting to see. Hina's cold war with YRKKH co-star, Karan Mehra
Though Hina and Karan started off on a friendly note, things went a little wrong and we still don't know why. Sources from the set revealed that the two hardly even spoke to each other off-screen and that the tension was quite visible. Speaking to BollywoodLife, Hina had said, "It is true that Karan and I weren't friends. However, we are thorough professionals and approach our work with integrity. We worked for such a long time and would have continued working for the years still the show went on."
In fact, we saw Rohan Mehra, who played Hina and Karan's son in YRKKH) post a cute, emotional message for Hina on social media but not Karan. Well, we wonder if Hina will speak about it in the house.
Tantrum Queen Hina
After Karan quit the show, there were sources who claimed that it was Hina's tantrums that made the actor walk out of the show and that the entire crew was being affected with this. The actress kept delaying shoots and changing scripts to suit her role better. While the cast and the production house refused to comment on this, sources from the set told us that she was being really difficult.
Hina's insecurity with Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan
After Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan's budding onscreen romance on the show, Hina was allegedly insecure with the attention they were getting onscreen. Reports suggested that Hina insisted that the focus of the show remains on Akshara and Naitik. In fact, we also heard that she had been changing scripts and demanding the writers to not shift focus from her role.
The tiff with the producers
Well, if sources are to be believed, Hina was at loggerheads with the production house. Though when she left, producer Rajan Shahi was all praise about the actress he did make a statement later on that made the actress really angry. Rajan told Indian Express, "With due respect to both the actors, it is a fact that after Naitik left we could consolidate our position much stronger and the TRPs actually increased. Likewise, after Hina’s exit, the show has grown."
Hina did not take lightly to this and replied saying, "Everybody has the right to express, but being a producer, why was he quiet when we were part of the show for eight long years? During that time, he went on record to praise both of us for our dedication and professionalism. And honestly, we were probably the only lead pair on television who continued to be with the show for eight consecutive years. Despite the work pressure, disagreements and other work opportunities, we continued to stay loyal to the show and supported the producer."
Nisha takes a dig at Hina after Karan's exit
This was shortly after Karan had quit the show. Nisha posted a long Facebook post about how Karan has faced a lot of health issues which he can finally take care of and about he has worked harder than a few people, who use a body double within just two years of working in the industry. A lot of people hinted that she is actually taking a dig at Hina, who has not really had a good relationship with Karan throughout the years that they worked together.
Karan had responded to those speculations and told BollywoodLife, "Well, I can speak for myself. If people wish to say certain things, it’s their call. She has not targeted anyone with the post or mentioned anyone’s name. I would like to wish the best to everyone associated with the show."
