Salman Khan was convicted yesterday for the 1998 blackbuck poaching case and was sentenced 5 years of imprisonment with a fine of Rs 10000. The case that has been running for 20 years now, finally got a verdict. Sonali Bendre, Tabu, Saif Ali Khan and Neelam got acquitted but Salman was found guilty for killing two black bucks. Along with Salman's fans, Bollywood celebrities and TV stars have all raised their voice in support of the superstar.
Moreover, soon after the verdict was declared, many started wondering what will happen to the TV shows, next season of Bigg Boss and Dus Ka Dum. Apparently, media tried to reach Bigg Boss 11 contestant and finalist Vikas Gupta for his reaction on the judgement. This made Vikas share an open letter on Twitter, where he mentioned that Salman is paying the price of being the biggest celebrity of the country. He took to Twitter to share a note and wrote, "Just jotted down what I really feel about @BeingSalmanKhan and this current scenario . Backlash is expected but You stand for what you feel is right." Meanwhile, Salman's bail hearing has been postponed until tomorrow by the Court. Vikram Singh, DIG of Jodhpur has addressed the media and given out a few details yesterday. He said, “Salman Khan has been given number 106 and is lodged in Ward number 2. He was made to undergo medical test and has no medical issues. He hasn’t made any demands. We’ll give him jail uniform tomorrow. Multiple-layer security has been put up for his ward.”
