Karanvir shot to fame with the 2002 television series, Shararat. The fantasy sitcom saw the actor in a good light. He played the character of Dhruv, who was fun loving and romantic. The cast of the show- Shruti Sheth, Simple Kaul and Farida Jalal recently had a reunion and their pictures dropped a major hint about the reboot version of it. The actor also made waves for his performance as the psychotic Viraj Dobriyal in Saubhagyavati Bhava.
About fours year back, Karanvir was embroiled in a controversy with Bollywood veteran Anupam Kher. It happened so that the actor had fumbled while announcing the latter's name during an awards show. Reacting to the same, Anupam has blasted him by saying, "Mere naam announce kardo, kahi galti se misprint nahi hua ho bhaisaab."

Karanvir Bohra could be one of those contestants who would not take shit from anyone in the house. The one who would raise his voice when needed and stay mum when not. In short, he would be wise and at the same time a diplomat.
