The director has taken over hosting the hit reality show from Salman Khan
Bigg Boss 8 ends and the spin off series — Bigg Boss Halla Bol — has begun. Farah Khan has taken the reins of the show from Salman Khan, who is busy shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Does she feel any pressure? “No, there’s no added pressure on my shoulders. I always knew that since it is Salman and I am taking over from him, there are bound to be comparisons. But there’s no competition. I am one of his biggest fans,” she says.
About her stint on the show, she says, “I am very muhfat so if I don’t like anything, I will be vocal about it. We have a segment called ‘Farah Ki Class’ where I will wear funky glasses and play a strict teacher.” Bigg Boss Halla Bol might be a four-week stint, but Farah has other television shows in the pipeline. “There’s one more show that will start soon, but it is not a reality show. I want the channel to announce it before I talk about it.” But why so much of TV? Farah cheekily answers, “TV mein bahut paisa milta hai, yaar!”
