Bigg Boss 14 contestant Eijaz Khan had earlier revealed a shocking dark secret from his childhood during a immunity task on the controversial reality show. Eijaz, who is seen as one of the most firebrand contestants, broke down while sharing he was touched inappropriately as a child. He said that he had struggled with it for years and that his therapist helped him get over it. He broke down as he said that he did not tell his father about it and that was one thing he regretted. However, he remained strong and said that he knows he was not to blame for it as he was only a child, and he was only sorry about the fact that he could not tell his father about it. And now his actor and producer friend Sandiip Sikcand has opened up about Eijaz's problem with touch.
“When I meet Eijaz, we always give each other a hug. The problem is that he has to be comfortable around people and only then does he initiate the hug or touch. I have known him since 18 years and initially, I never used to hug him; we would just shake hands when we met. I remember one incident when he was at my house and my mother came to welcome him with a hug, but he very politely explained to her that he wasn’t comfortable with it. But now that he knows her well, he himself hugs her when they meet. I think he takes time to establish a rapport with someone. It’s not like he thinks, ‘Oh God, I can't touch anyone’. People in the house are sometimes stupid and make a big deal about nothing. I think it's a psychological and emotional problem, which one has to deal with sensitively,” Sandiip told TOI in an interview.
After spending more than 100 days in the Bigg Boss 14, Eijaz has left the show because of his work commitments. Eijaz was the first contestant to enter the house and suddenly watching him go has left his fans disappointed.
Eijaz had revealed that he was going through a critical financial situation and which is why he chose to participate in Bigg Boss 14. He was talking to co-contestant Shardul Pandit, Eijaz shared that he had Rs 4,000 in his bank account and had to take a loan of Rs 1.5 lakh from a friend to pay for an advance.
