Bigg Boss 14 is one of the most talked things of recent times. The reality TV show is one of the most-watched TV shows in Indian television. It has been in the news for quite some time now. Normally, tons of promos and teasers would have been out by now had it not been for the coronavirus pandemic that stalled the shootings and pushed various TV shows and films ahead. However, with the recent promos, Salman Khan, the host of the show had promised that Bigg Boss 14 is ready to take on 2020 head-on. It was said that Bigg Boss 14 will be going on floors in September but looks like it will be pushed ahead further.
Well, you know its monsoon season and the rains have forced the makers to push the season ahead. A source close to the development of the same told Pinkvilla saying that the rains destroyed the sets of Bigg Boss 14. "The channel and makers are forced to push the show by a month as the repair work of the set was affected due to heavy rains lashing Mumbai in the past week. The rains have delayed the repair work and the set is not yet ready for the contestants. Hence, keeping all the precautions and everything in mind, the reality show is now being postponed to October," the source told the portal.
Another source revealed that the show is likely to go on floors in October. However, nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Meanwhile, as far as the contestants go, names like Jasmin Bhasin, Pavitra Punia, Eijaz Khan, Naina Singh have come forward to be locked inside the house. As per the new guidelines, the contestants will be first quarantined before they enter the house. The whole house will be sanitized as a precautionary measure amidst the global pandemic.
It was also said that Jennifer Winget refused to do Bigg Boss 14. Reportedly, she was being offered a whopping Rs 3 crore for the season. Her Beyhadh 2 costar, Shivin Narang who was last seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 10 was also in talks for the show.
