Baahubali: The Conclusion revealed to us that the sequel to the blockbuster prequel will release on April 28, 2017. According to the film listing of 2017 that we have till now, Baahubali would have a two week free run before Priyanka Chopra and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's Baywatch would release! This would give Baahubali: The Conclusion a very good opportunity to break quite a few records. took the box office by storm but failed to beat the opening day collection of Baahubali Happy New Year (Rs 44 crore). Since then, Rajnikanth's Kabali has broken this record. Reports suggest that the latest South release had collected about Rs 48 crore on day one. Baahubali: The Conclusion will now have to cross this figure to hold this record!
Opening weekend collections
Sultan released this Eid and broke nearly 35 records in the first weekend itself. One of the records was the highest opening weekend grosser ever. It had collected Rs 180.36 crore over the five day weekend. Baahubali: The Conclusion has a three day weekend and so it will be difficult for it to break this record, however nothing is impossible!

First week collections
Again Salman Khan's
Sultan has the prestige to hold this record. The Eid release had collected Rs 229.16 crore in its first week and SS Rajamouli's directorial will have to challenge this number!
Lifetime domestic collections
P.K. holds the record of the highest lifetime domestic collections after it collected Rs 340.80 crore in its lifetime run at the Indian market. We will have to wait and see if the two week free run will help Baahubali 2 to topple P.K. or not!

Lifetime worldwide collections
Baahubali earned a HUGE amount in the overseas market too. In fact, till date it is third on the list of highest worldwide grossing Indian film. The first position is held by Aamir Khan's P.K. which has collected Rs 792 crore in its lifetime run at the worldwide market. Prabhas and Rana Daggubati's movie can easily break this record courtesy the anticipation around the film.
