Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer Raazi has achieved one more milestone at the box office. The spy period thriller has now entered the Rs 100 crore club at the ticket windows. It has achieved this feat in just 17 days. Raazi raked in Rs 4.42 crore yesterday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 102.50 crore.
While Raazi has turned out to be Vicky Kaushal's first Rs 100 crore film, Alia has previously achieved this feat with 2 States and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The film has already beaten the lifetime business of 2 States to become Alia Bhatt's second highest grosser of all time. Raazi currently holds the fifth spot in the list of highest Bollywood grossers of 2018 after Padmaavat, Baaghi 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Raid. It will surpass the Ajay Devgn starrer to become grab the fourth spot in the list.
Based on Harinder Sikka's book "Calling Sehmat", the story of "Raazi" revolves around a young Kashmiri girl who gets married to a Pakistani Army officer and becomes a spy to give inside information about the neighbouring country to protect her own. The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar, who previously helmed Talvar and Just Married. It also stars Rajit Kapoor, Shishir Sharma, Soni Razdan, Jaideep Ahlawat and Amruta Khanvilkar in pivotal roles.
