The film, which was off to a poor performance on day 1, upped its game a little over the weekend
Umesh Shukla’s latest family comedy, All Is Well, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Asin and Supriya Pathak finally hit screens on Friday, August 21. The film opened to a very slow start with an occupancy of around 15-20 per cent and failed to set cash registers jingling with a collection of Rs 2.90 crore on day 1 at the domestic front. However, the film seems to have grabbed the family audiences' attention over the following two days and witnessed a growth in business bringing in Rs 3.98 crore on Saturday and Rs 5.03 crore on Sunday. the total weekend collection of the film now stands at Rs 11.91 crore.
Reportedly, the makers have already earned Rs 25 crore (approx) through overseas distribution, music and satellite rights. This means that the makers have already exceeded their recovery amount, given that the film is made on a not-so-extravagant budget of Rs 28 crore (approx).
The film might bring in a few more bucks through the week but is likely to hit a setback with Saif Ali Khan - Katrina Kaif's Phantom hitting screens on Friday.
