Avengers: Endgame has not even completed a week at the box office and has already shattered many box office records across the globe. Till now, the MCU film has grossed $1.48 billion and with this total, it has crushed Black Panther ($1.34 billion) and Avengers: Age of Ultron ($1.40 billion) to become the eighth highest grossing film of all-time at the ticket windows. The film is now behind Avatar, Titanic, Star Wars: Force Awakens, Avengers: Infinity War, Jurassic World, Marvel's The Avengers and Furious 7 in the top grossing list.
Coming to Indian box office, it has surpassed the business of Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike to become the highest grosser of the year in the domestic market. Chris Hemsworth who stars as Thor in the film, thanked fans across the world for making the film a success. took to his Instagram on Tuesday morning to share a video, wherein he said: "Huge weekend at the box office. Historical moment. 'Avengers: Endgame' had the biggest opening of all time in cinematic history across the globe. Fast becoming the biggest film of all time and it is all thanks to you guys... None of this is possible without your support.
"Whether you love these characters from the comic books written many years ago or right through the last 10 years with these 22 films, your love have brought these characters to life and your responsible for its success." Also starring Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Benedict Cumberbatch in key roles, the film is directed by Russo Brothers. Anyway, have you liked the film?
