Avengers: Infinity War is turning out to be a hugely profitable adventure for Disney. The movie on a spree of breaking box office records. After smashing through with record-breaking opening numbers in India, the movie has already beaten The Jungle Book. You see, Mowgli's adventure was adored by everyone in India and the movie managed to rake in Rs 40.47 crore in three days. On the other hand, the MCU entry has managed to surpass these numbers with an exceptional difference. In just two days, the movie has managed to get Rs 61.8 crore in India. We did expect AIW to break records but to clock in the numbers in much less time was surprising.
By doing so Avengers: Infinity War has also beaten Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 2, which had a day 2 collection of Rs 45.50 crore. Also, the superhero movie has beaten Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmaavat - which was the highest day 2 collector of 2018 with Rs 56 crore. We can only imagine what the international numbers must be like. The movie is all set to dethrone Fate of the Furious from its position of highest opening weekend grosser worldwide. Avengers: Infinity War is getting closer to beat the box office record set by 2017’s action flick Fate of the Furious, which minted $541.9 million over the weekend. AIW is somewhere close to $250 million just in the US market. Adding international numbers to it will definitely give a tough competition to Fate of the Furious.
