Despite the release of Blackmail, Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 2 continued to dominate the box office in its second week. In fact, the action entertainer has performed much better than Irrfan Khan's black comedy. The film raked in Rs 3.25 crore yesterday and now stands with the grand total of Rs 142.10 crore. Baaghi 2 is expected to cross Rs 150 crore benchmark by the end of its third weekend at the ticket windows. The film has surpassed the business of many Bollywood biggies like Pad Man, Raid and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. It is currently the second highest grosser of the year after Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat.
Apart from the lead cast, the film also features Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Prateik Babbar and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles. Baaghi 2 is directed by Ahmed Khan, who previously helmed films Fool N Final and Lakeer. Despite receiving mixed reviews from the critics, it garnered accolades from the audience, which can be clearly seen through its amazing box office collections. Our critic Ankita Chaurasia, gave the film the film three stars and said, “Some whistle-worthy dialogues that will remind you of Sunny Deol and some well-choreographed action scenes, make Baaghi 2 a decent watch.”
