Director Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat is performing exceptionally well at the ticket windows. The mega-budget film is maintaining its strong grip in the weekdays and currently stands with the grand total of Rs 175 crore. With this total, it has beaten the lifetime business of Race 3 (Rs 172 crore) and has turned out to be the seventh highest grosser of all-time.

By the end of its second weekend, the film will enter the Rs 200 crore and will surpass the business of Ek Tha Tiger to grab the sixth position in the list. It will be interesting to see whether films like MIB International, Game Over and Khamoshi will give competition to Bharat, which are releasing this Friday at the box office.
Bharat features the Dabangg star in six different looks ranging from a young circus champion to a 60-year-old man where he is spotted with grey strands of hair. After receiving a positive response from the audience, Zafar said in a statement: "It is humbling to be showered this kind of love by audiences. I have tried to present Salman Khan in a totally new light and as a totally new hero with 'Bharat'. "I'm ecstatic that audiences have liked our attempt to make 'Bharat' a thoroughly entertaining joyride that also has its soul in the right place."
