BL Predicts: Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala to open with THESE figures on day 1

Bala is clashing with Sooraj Pancholi's Satellite Shankar and since the latter one has no buzz and awareness, it will hardly have any opening at the ticket windows

Ayushmann Khurrana has been a roll for the last few years as he has given six consecutive hits in the form of Bareily Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, Badhaai Ho, Article 15 and Dream Girl. The actor has now come with his latest offering Bala, which is set to hit the screens this Friday at the ticket windows. While the promo and songs of the film have garnered love among the cine-goers, the plot and characterization similarities with Sunny Singh's Ujda Chaman has created some kind of controversies among the film. During a media interaction, Ayushmann said, "We shot our film first, announced our film first. There's just one line that is similar, otherwise, it's a different film. I've seen the South Indian film (on which Ujda Chaman is based) after we completed the shoot. Once you see the film, you'll realise (the difference)." The actor also mentioned that Bala is not restricted to baldness. "It (Bala) isn't about just receding hair or baldness. It is about loving and discovering yourself, more than anything else," he said. Since his film is releasing one week after the Sunny Singh starrer, there is a possibility that Bala's box office business could suffer. When asked about the same, the actor added, "It happened with the Bhagat Singh films, also. The film that's goodwill do well. I'm really confident about our film. It's a beautiful film and one of the best scripts I've ever read. Anybody can come up with the same idea." Now, keeping aside these controversies, if we look at the buzz and hype around Bala and it is quite decent. In fact, due to great goodwill which Ayushmann carries because of his previous hits, the film has the potential to open with great numbers at the ticket windows. As per our prediction, Bala can earn between Rs 9 crore to Rs 10 crore on its first day. These numbers can escalate based on the initial response from the audience in the morning shows.
