The heart-throb of Bollywood Varun Dhawan, who currently enjoys a 100 per cent success ratio is all set to entertain us with Sui Dhaaga: Made In India, which is set to hit the screens this Friday. Talking about the film, the trailer and songs have impressed the audience, in fact, the fresh pair of Varun and Anushka Sharma has garnered immense praises from the movie buffs. Though the film is not a typical Varun commercial entertainer like Judwaa 2 or ABCD 2, as it targets the multiplex audience majorly. Though despite being a niche genre, it will open to a decent response due to Varun's huge and loyal fan base among the youth.
Looking at the current trend, we are expecting the film to earn around Rs 8 to 10 crore on its opening day. Post its morning shows, if the film receives positive reviews, the collections can go beyond expectations on its opening day by collecting over Rs 11 crore. The film has a strong chance of earning around Rs 40 crore in its opening weekend, after which it will enter the profit zone at the box office. The film will also enjoy the national of October 2 (Gandhi Jayanti), which will further help to boost its business in the domestic market.
Vishal Bhardwaj's directorial venture Pataakha starring Radhika Madan and Sanya Malhotra is also hitting the screens this Friday. Since the film is low on buzz and doesn't have popular faces, it should earn around Rs 1 crore on its opening day.
